Gurjaani Kvelatsminda - Church of All Saints is an early medieval architectural monument located 2km from the town Gurjaani, Georgia’s eastern region Kakheti. The church is situated in Kakhtubani gorge, inside a forested area.
Gurjaani Kvelatsminda is dated back to the early medieval period, 8th-9th c.c. The church is constructed with three different types of building material: cobblestone, brick, and pumice stone. Its interior can be divided into three naves. Church has two entrances from south and west. Kvelatsminda Church is a unique example as it is the only extant two-domed Georgian medieval church monument. Church has been renovated once in the 17th century, and twice in modern times.
The church is active since 1993. Nowadays, there’s a functioning monk monastery in Kvelatsminda.
