Nazy’s Guest House

Established in 2013, Nazy’s Guest House is a nationally recognized award-winning guest house in Georgia. It is also featured in the Lonely Planet travel guidebook (June 2020 publication) and is one of the most popular guest houses in Pankisi Valley and Kakheti. It is easily accessible by public and private transport from Tbilisi taking just over 2 hour’s drive. Fluent English, Georgian and Russian are spoken.

Our family home and guest house are situated in the tranquil village of Jokolo in the heart of the beautiful and fertile Pankisi Valley in the mountainous region of north-eastern Georgia. This region is home to the hospitable Kist community who originate from Chechnya and Ingushetia highlands, and have made Georgia their home for more than two centuries.

Pankisi Valley is surrounded by dense foothills and overlooked by the High Caucasus Mountains. There are marked hiking trails and information boards for exploring the area. There is no pollution here and the mountain air is clean and the drinking water refreshing. This is a perfect place to get away from the chaos, pollution and noise of the towns and cities, to relax and revitalize or explore the beautiful nature and unique local culture and attractions.

Nazy’s Guest House manages all trekking services through Pankisi Adventure Treks, which arranges guided horse treks starting from Pankisi Valley to Tusheti or Khevsureti. Guests have three options to choose from; Discovery (local valley attractions, duration 1 day), Explorer (local mountains, duration 2-3 days) and Pioneer (remote high mountains, duration 3, 5, 8 or more days). Our treks can be done by horse or walking accompanied by an experienced local guide. Treks can be tailored to meet group interests, ability and budget.

Nazy’s Guest House offers mountain-bike tour services for guests accompanied by local guide. Guests can also hire quality mountain bikes for exploring Pankisi Valley at leisure or go trail-blazing into the higher mountains.

Nazy’s Guest House offers cooking classes in traditional Georgian and Kist cuisine providing a great opportunity to learn how to prepare delicious local dishes. We have our own vegetable garden providing for most of our needs and the produce is organic and fresh.

Guests are able to attend live ensemble performance by ensemble Aznash Laaman of Chechen and Georgian folk song, music and dance.

Nazy's Guest House can arrange visits to the best wineries for wine tasting in Kakheti province and Georgia. We do not serve alcohol at the guest house however, we promote the locally produced non-alcoholic beer ‘Kisturi’, which is a refreshing popular beverage and healthy alternative to alcohol.
