What makes Nunisi so special and unique? - combination of two - air and water. Its unique micro climate is created by mixed, deciduous, and coniferous forests. Nunisi mineral waters are used for drink and baths. Nunisi integrates green environment, ecologically clean forested surrounding areas, fresh air and healing water, nutrition with natural products, good entertainment and ideal vacation.

Located in Upper Imereti region, Kharagauli Municipality, West Georgia, Resort and village Nunisi is situated on the northern slopes of the Meskheti Range, in the gorge of the river Nunisistskali and in the north-eastern part of Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, at 800-900 meters above sea level. 

The Balneo-Climatic healing waters has a long history. Waters had been used for medical purposes since the IX century. A Georgian royal prince, geographer, historian and cartographer Vakhushti Batonishvili mentions the water of Nunisi in his written sources. The modern resort Nunisi has existed since 1856.

Nunisi healing waters

Nunisi water baths are unique for the treatment of skin diseases and for many diseases caused by emotional disorder. Nunisi healing water is used to treat chronic skin diseases and regulate body metabolism. In addition, Nunisi mineral water baths have an overall restorative, healing and rejuvenating effect on body, calming the nervous system and making any SPA procedure even more effective.

The secret of the healing power of Nunisi water lies in its composition. It is characterized by low mineralization and strongly alkaline water (pH8,3). Due to this, the corneal layer of the skin is dissolved and mineral water penetrates deep into the skin, which enhances its therapeutic effect. The healing properties of the water are due to the high concentration of silicic acid. It also contains important elements such as: ammonium, potassium, bromine, boric acid and others. The study also found iodine and manganese ions in it.

Nunis water cures skin diseases - psoriasis, eczema, neurodermatitis, impetigo, as well as allergies, diseases of the joints and peripheral nervous system. The treatment is prescribed on the spot and is constantly monitored by a dermatologist and a therapist. The main method of treatment is warm mineral water baths and showers.

The course of treatment is recommended to last at least 10 days.

The Climate

The unique micro climate of Nunisi is created by a mixed deciduous and coniferous forest. The resort is located on a mountain slope, 800-900 meters above sea level. It is isolated in the middle of a beautiful forest and is connected to the road only by cable car and paths, completely protected from exhaust. Coniferous flowering season (late May to early June) is doubly beneficial for those with bronchial and respiratory diseases.

Nunisi Forest Hotel & SPA complex

Nunisi Forest Hotel & SPA is a medical, recreational and entertainment complex located in the north-eastern part of Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, in the valley of the river Nunisi, 750 meters above sea level, overlooking the green forest .

The modern, comfortable and well-appointed hotel is a 3-storey building with panoramic and beautiful views.
The hotel has 7 rooms. Car is not a preferred transport here, only a ropeway that crosses the water gorge of the river Nunisi connects the road.

Cottages:

The complex consists of 5 standard Finnish cottages. Small wooden cottages are environmentally friendly and best for health. 16 rooms of two-storey cottages are fully equipped for comfortable accommodation.

Food:

The resort provides 3 times meals a day on a semi-buffet basis. Some of the dishes included in the menu are made from local, natural products. The menu includes both non-dietary and dietary dishes based on the recommendations of the resort dietitian.

Fun & Joy:

There is presented everything for the relaxation and fun in the hotel including animator for children, billiards, evening events, bonfire zone. An entertainer constantly takes care of the fun of those who want to have an active vacation, the program is diverse for both children and adults.

It is possible to plan excursions in the beautiful valley, to visit the waterfalls and the cave of the mystical monks, the so-called Noah's Ark and IX-X century church of the Virgin. Nunisi is famous for its unknown and mystical sights.
