At the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris, Georgian athletes delivered outstanding performances. Giga Ochkhikidze, a 33-year-old Paralympic shot putter, won gold in the men’s shot put F53 category. Vladimir Tchintcharauli secured silver in the 50-meter rifle shooting event. Ana Japaridze earned bronze in the women’s –52 kg Taekwondo category, and Nino Tibilashvili won bronze in women’s sabre A wheelchair fencing. Their achievements highlight the strength and talent of Georgian sports.
