Georgian and Armenian tourism administrations, sponsored by USAID, recently hosted a 3-day business trip to Armenia for Georgian local tour operators. The event aimed to enhance tourism potential and improve communication between the two nations.
The first day featured a study tour and the Mimino Festival, an Armenian-Georgian cultural culinary festival where teams showcased their national cuisines and engaged in cultural activities. Participants visited Haghpat Monastery and enjoyed the vibrant festival atmosphere with singing, dancing, and crafts.
On the second day, the group toured Yerevan City and the ARARAT Brandy Factory, followed by B2B meetings and a dinner at a traditional Armenian restaurant.
The final day concluded with a Tourism Forum and Conference. Georgian Holidays' Director, Mr. Saba, participated, expressing gratitude for this collaborative opportunity to strengthen ties and promote tourism growth.
