Tbilisi Auto Museum
The museum is a great find for car lovers and Soviet Era enthusiasts, owned by a Georgian businessman named Giorgi Mamulashvili, the museum is in fact a private collection of up to 50 cars and motorcycles made in the USSR mainly during the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
Touring the collection, visitors can see the first Soviet pickup truck, many Zaporozhets, a few Moskivitch models and two beautiful Chaikas, one black and one white. Some vehicles were found abandoned in the remote villages, while others are luxury vehicles previously owned by influential people, such as Georgia's ex-president’s Mr. Eduard Shevardnadze. Every single car is in excellent condition having been lovingly restored and maintained by the owner.
