Valodia’s Cottage

Valodia’s Eco Cottage is an excellent highlight for the lovers of rural tourism, which integrates a family hotel, farm, winery and a green house. It is located in Samtskhe-Javakheti region, Aspindza Municipality, South Georgia, in just a couple of kilometers from the famous medieval monument – Vardzia Cave Monastery.

Valodia’s Cottage is situated in the ravine of river Mtkvari, surrounded by the stunning landscapes and rocky terrain. Valodia Zazadze is the owner and head of the family here. His hotel includes two stone and one timber cottages. In addition, Valodia’s Cottage boasts with its own trout fish-farm, green house, potato field, vineyard and flower garden, where guests can taste fresh greens and vegetables.

Besides that, Valodia is responsible for revitalizing traditional wine-making here. In total, the vineyard, flowers, river and exceptional surrounding environment make this place unique, especially for the lovers of the rural tourism.
