Abastumani - SPA town in Georgia

Abastumani Daba - a small urban-type 19th c settlement, is one of the top mountain spa resorts in Georgia. Located in the evergreen gorge of the Adjara-Imereti Pass, in the South of the Meskheti Range, and east of the Fersati Mountain (1275-1340 m above sea level) resort is settled in the gorge of the river Otskhi.

As a result, it was called Abastumani Chlorenatrium Sulfate Calcium Hyperthermic Healing Waters and was used to treat rheumatic, gynecological, dermatological, neurological diseases, metabolic disorders and chronic ulcers.

Driving distance: Abastumani is located in 260 km from Tbilisi. Resort Sairme is connected by Zekari Pass in summer only - 90 km from Abastumani. This is an extreme western entrance and checkpoint of Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Driving distance from Adigeni is 25 km and 28 km from Akhaltsikhe.
