Gardenia Shevardnadze occupies an area of 10,000 sq.m., on the top of Khudadovi hill, near Tbilisi Sea on which there is a German-style garden, a Little café, a children's playground and a flower shop. This unusually cozy designer space pleases the eye, and the vintage cafe pleases the taste of the most demanding visitors. The Gardenia Shevardnadze Garden presents more than 3,000 diverse, traditional for the region and exotic plants, seeds and seedlings of which (as well as bouquets for loved ones!) can be purchased in a specialized store located right there.
In the alleys and flowerbeds you will see a lot of unusual design finds from the creator of the park - botanist and gardener Zurab Shevardnadze, whose flowers, for example, grow from samovars, old shoes or other ancient household items that seem not intended for this purpose.
Gardenia Shevardnadze is located on the road to the Tbilisi Sea, so when returning from a walk in the fresh air, there is nothing more pleasant than enjoying the atmosphere of a vintage cafe, tasting delicious homemade pastries and tea, which is served here in compliance with the best tea drinking traditions. Those who are particularly hungry should not worry - here you will also be fed with dishes of Georgian cuisine.
