Giuaani Winery in Manavi Village:
The name Giuaani originates from the Giuaant District, where the Giuashvili family has been producing wine for generations around the historic Manavi Castle. The modern Giuaani factory, equipped with cutting-edge technology, is located in this area.
Within the factory grounds, visitors can discover remnants of Qvevris dating back to 1894, commemorating Mikheil's (Mikhako's) birthday. Since that year, the Giuashvili family has been involved in commercial wine production. In 2010, the company embarked on a new era of ultra-modern wine production.
At Giuaani Winery, guests are warmly welcomed to explore the factory, sample Qvevri wines crafted using traditional Georgian methods, as well as wines produced using European techniques. Visitors can also taste barrel-aged wines and Georgian Chacha. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to participate in the vintage process and join masterclasses in churchkhela making, bread baking, and Chacha distillation.
During their visit, guests can indulge in authentic Georgian cuisine prepared by the chef at Giuaani's restaurant. They can also unwind in the beautiful garden and enjoy the swimming pool facilities.
