ll never forget - and one I can’t wait to relive. The warmth of the people, the flavors of the food, and the sheer beauty of the landscapes made this journey truly unforgettable.
It all started in Azerbaijan, where the mix of ancient and modern in Baku's Old Town was mesmerizing. The fiery magic of Ateshgah felt almost otherworldly, and the mud volcanoes of Gobustan - what a surreal sight! But beyond the landmarks, it was the hospitality of the locals that left a mark. Sitting down for a traditional meal of plov and kebabs, I was welcomed like family.
Then came Georgia, the land of wine, mountains, and heartfelt toasts. Walking through the winding streets of Tbilisi was amazing. Visiting the vineyards of Kakheti was a great experience. Gazing at the Kazbegi mountains felt like a dream. The homemade khinkali and khachapuri were so good, I’m still craving them! And the supra (traditional feast) I was lucky enough to experience? Pure magic.
In Armenia, I found something truly special. The monasteries of Tatev and Khor Virap, set against the majestic Mount Ararat, felt like stepping into history. And Yerevan - what a city! Full of life, culture, and the kind of warmth that makes you never want to leave. The brandy tasting and lavash-making sessions were the perfect way to end this journey. This tour is not just about seeing places. It’s about feeling them, tasting them, and connecting with the amazing people who live in the Caucasus.
