Lisi Lake Tbilisi recreation zone
Located in the north-west vicinity of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, at 624 meters above sea level, Lisi Lake area is one of the most popular recreation zones. The landscape is mostly rocky, artificially forested. The surrounded territory is remarkable with interesting fauna, a habitat for turtles, foxes, hares and variety of different of exotic bird species.
Lisi Lake and its surrounding areas are used for different sports, boating, riding, swimming, fishing, picnic, festivals and etc. There is a 3 km long path perfect for jogging and biking lovers. A bike rental, climbing wall, picnic areas around, mini stadium, a sulfur bathhouse, small shore and outdoor caffes create very relaxing, quick-escape atmosphere from the nosy capital city.
