Tbilisi-Ananuri- Aragvi Adventure Center -Tbilisi 166 km (3 h 9 min)

In the morning meet your guide at the lobby of hotel and head to the north by Georgian Military Road.

First stop is the medieval castle Ananuri (driving distance from Tbilisi to Ananuri is 67 km, approximately 1 h 21 min). Built in the 16th -17th cc., the complex comprises fortification, residential, spiritual and other cult and civic buildings. The Fortress overlooks Zhinvali Reservoir.

After short excursion in Ananuri, drive along the bank of the river towards the Aragvi Adventure Center. Rafting base camp is here, you can change clothes and get the necessary equipment: life jackets and helmets, and listen to a short training - how to ride a 6-8 seated boat. The start is at Magharoskari village. Trip grade is easy, covers 1.5 km, and lasts 1:30 minutes. During the whole time enjoy beautiful valley of the river Pshavi's Aragvi and surrounding forest. You are accompanied by professional, certified experienced instructor. The route ends in the village Tvalivi.

Barbeque picnic lunch is served in the nature.

In the evening drive back to Tbilisi.
