Embark on a short escape - a cultural day tour through Kakheti, visiting the town of Sighnaghi and the Bodbe Nunnery. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Greater Caucasus Mountains and the Alazani River Valley. Visit the Sighnaghi museum where paintings by the great artist Pirosmani are on display, stroll through the old town and look at the defensive wall of the 17th and 18th centuries to immerse yourself in the rich history of the country. Return to Tbilisi after a perfect day of exploration.

Pick-up from Tbilisi hotel. As the tour is private, we start upon your conveniences.
Drive to Kakheti, the most fertile, agriculture area and the birthplace of wine making in Georgia.
Arrive in Bodbe Monastery (2 km before Signaghi town) - one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th century female evangelist of Georgians, her relics are shrine there.
Continue to Sighnaghi town- the former trading town with 17th c defensive wall and towers around; Cobbled streets and terra cotta tile-roofed houses, colorful carved balconies and breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley gives the town very charming character.
Visit Sighnaghi Ethnographic Museum. Museum collection features five thousand artifacts, including textiles, copper and wooden domestic items, agricultural instruments, materials corresponding to viniculture, goldsmith works, different types of working instruments, and musical instruments.

Each of these trips offers its own charm, whether it's delving into history, enjoying cultural experiences, or soaking in the breathtaking scenery of Alazani Valley.
