Drive to Kolkheti National Park for a boat trip starting at the entrance of Paliastomi Lake. There are several *options for tour: by motorboat, kayaking and pontoon boat. Let’s feel the beauty of astonishing lake shore scenery, tall thickets of bulrush, secondary wet meadows, and the thick cover of royal fern. From the birdwatching tower, one can observe migratory birds, some of which are rare species that seek safe havens in the thickets of peatland vegetation.

After the boat trip drive to Poti-a seaport city. Here we can get a cup of coffee at a local café or just arrange a lunch.

Start Poti sightseeing from the Museum of Colchian Culture. Brief excursion takes about 20 minutes. Museum consists mainly of archaeological excavations of historic Cloches, dating from the third millennium BC. Age 7th – 8 th cc.

The next stop is Poti lighthouse – the tallest naval structure in the Black Sea basin. The beacon offers a spectacular view of the point where Rioni River joins the Black Sea.

Visit the one and only Neo-Byzantine cathedral of Georgia. For 70 years, this temple has been functioning as a theater. The Poti Cathedral St. Virgin Mary was restored few years ago and now it is a major landmark of the city.
