After breakfast at the Tbilisi hotel, check out and embark on a scenic drive towards the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, reaching Borjomi Spa Town in approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes (174 km). Borjomi is nestled amidst mountains adorned with dense forests of broadleaf and cOniferous trees.

On the way, visit Jvari, a church dating back to 586-604 AD, showcasing a tetranoch architectural style popular in Byzantine, Armenia, and Georgia during the early Christian era.

Continue the journey to Mtskheta town and visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (1010-1029 AD), renowned as the burial site of Christ’s mantle. This sacred site has been revered since the first century. The cathedral's interior walls feature frescoes from different periods (16th-19th cc), and its stonework depicts carved grapes, symbolizing Georgia’s rich wine-making traditions rooted in the Old Testament.

Upon arrival in Borjomi, take a leisurely stroll in Borjomi Central Park and savor the natural bubbling mineral waters directly from the hot springs.

This 19th c railway was constructed by the French engineer-constructor Gustave Eiffel by order of The Grand Duke of Russia, Michael Nikolaevich Romanov. The inaugural "Kukushka" train traversed the Borjomi-Bakuriani narrow-gauge railway line, crossing the bridge in 1902.
